Twas the Night Before the Nobel Prize in Literature...

Oh, hey!  Still here.

It's been a busy few months here at ye olde Tedious & Brief.  I haven't had a lot of time to write reviews or read, but I do have some that will shortly be making their way down the pipeline.  Thanks for staying with me!

Also, tomorrow is arguably the biggest day in literary world: the announcing of the Nobel Prize in Literature.

This article is claiming that my favorite author, Haruki Murakami, is the favorite to win, but I have heard that before...and the Nobel committee seems to overlook anyone with any sort of fame these days as well as anyone who isn't European for the prize in literature.  There is a livecast of the announcement posted at the Nobel website.  It'll be broadcast at 1 pm CET or, it seems, 6 am Central time.

Any thoughts on who will win it this year?

Yay!! OTO has returned from the wilderness.

I think the Chinese author will win the Nobel prize in literature.
