Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I've Read in 2010 - a look back into your favorite reads of 2010!

Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's topic is

- Top Ten Books I've Read in 2010 -
-a look back into your favorite reads of 2010! -

Notice, not all the books I've reviewed on this blog so far are books I've read in 2010, so that's why some books which I blogged very highly about are not on this list.  I'll have a more full list of my favorites and least favorites of the year sometime in the New Year, but in no particular order, for now...

Fiction

Priority - Iselin C. Hermann

Bonjour Tristesse - Françoise Sagan

A Certain Smile - Françoise Sagan

Dimanche and Other Stories - Irene Nemirovsky

Almost Transparent Blue - Ryu Murakami

Audition - Ryu Murakami

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins

Speak - Laurie Halse Anderson

Non-Fiction

90-Day Geisha: My Time as Tokyo Hostess - Chelsea Haywood

I NEED to read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo! It just never seems like the right time for it. I'm really glad you enjoyed The Hunger Games, I loved it.

We had The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Speak and The Hunger Games in common.

I've been curious about Major Pettigrew's Last Stand for a while, might have to try and track it down.

Speak is popping up everywhere. Tis going on the TBR list. Sounds very powerful.

Hope it's not as 'distrubing' as A Child Called It.

I couldn't even attempt that one. So let me know if maybe I should rethink?

Agreed Devil in the White City is fantastic!

PS--love the way you've formatted these posts--I need to figure out how to do those pretty paragraph colors!

Brenna: Yeah! Though the third of her books that I read, I really didn't care for. :( I think I'm going to take a break from her for a little bit.

Daisy: Yes...though the first 30-40 pages of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo are pretty boring. I honestly felt my eyes glazing over reading them.

1girl2manybooks: Major Pettigrew's was better than I thought it would be. Not tremendous, but decent.

Laura: I've never read A Child Called It so I can't really compare it to anything else. Speak is really fairly tame for most of the book.
