Top Ten Tuesday: Fall TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is brought to us by the letters X, F, P, the number 5, and the blog The Broke and the Bookish. This week's topic is:

- Top Ten Books  On The Top Of My TBR List For Fall -

Oh, To Be Read pile...oh what a mountain you are!  At some point I need to count those books.  I used to actually arrange a pile of books to read for each month, but it has been a while since I did that since I normally just read what sounds interesting at the moment rather than follow any sort of set list.

1. The Devlin Diary - Christi Phillips

2. Shade it Black: Life and After in Iraq - Jessica Goodall

3. Maria Juana's Gift - T. Lloyd Winetsky

4. Salt: A World History - Mark Kurlansky

 5. Foreign Babes in Beijing: Behind the Scenes of a New China - Rachel DeWoskin

 6. 1Q84 - Haruki Murakami

7. A Writer at War: Vasily Grossman with the Red Army - Vasily Grossman

So, I just have 7 books that I can think of on the top of my head.  I'm sure if I was at home looking at my shelves I'd have more.  Book number 6 is probably the book on this list I've waited to read the longest.  It came out in Japan years ago with the English translation being published just in this October...and it's a brick at reportedly over 1000 pages long!
