In the spirit of the Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and find new blogs that we may be missing out on! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed!
This week's prompt:
When you write reviews, do you write them as you are reading or wait until you have read the entire book?
For example, I have a review which I'm posting next week (Laurie Halse Anderson's Speak) where I wrote most of the review by the time I was halfway done with the book, in large part because I felt it important to write how I came across this book, since it's not in a genre I usually read. I was able to get that part written down without actually finishing the book.
Other times, it's interesting to see how, if I start my review early in the reading process, it goes from very positive to lukewarm if the ending of the book is far less wonderful than the rest of the story.
Also, as a quick plug...Natalie at Coffee and a Book Chick and I are co-hosting a read along for Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian. Discussions are planned for on Sunday, so whether your reading the book the first time through or you've read it before, please join us at On The Ledge Read-A-Longs.

Happy Hop! I wait until the end to write my review and use the notes I write to give insight on what I felt when reading. It's helped alot.
HOP by and visit
I always wondered, if I started my book review at the beginning, would I give a more honest, less friendly review? I'm not sure. I have a feeling I'd be way more knit-picky though!

I like the idea of your review changing as the story goes on. It's interesting to see how certain elements in a book can really make a difference!
Dropping in from the hop. The Historian was an awesome read...long but awesome. If you enjoy it try "The Hidden Will of the Dragon" by Charlie Courtland. To me they are equally fascinating.

It is really interesting to see how your feelings about a book change over the course of the story! I sometimes see a trend like that in my notes.
Stopping by on the Hop! Hope you've had a lovely weekend =)
