When you travel, how many books do you bring with you?
Has this changed since the arrival of ebooks?

It depends a bit on what I'm reading at that moment. If it's a huge novel that I've been reading for a while, I may just take that plus a back-up in case I finish with it. If I'm starting a new book, I usually take at least 2-3 books because I hate having started a new book only to find I dislike that book....and then not have a backup.
Has it changed since the arrival of ebooks? No, it hasn't. I still don't have an e-reader and given the limitations of e-readers (you can't share books or re-sell, I like the feel of a book, I've had enough computers die on me to be leery of keeping a library in such a digital format) I doubt I'll become a big fan of them anytime soon.

Absolutely agree with you! 2-3 books minimum...and not a fan of ebooks.
I reduce a stack of about 10 books to 2 trade paperbacks and Kindle when I fly to Asia. The length of the trip is key to how many hard copies I'm bringing. I almost never use my Kindle when I'm not traveling.
